The fourth fit out for Market Lane by Hearth Studio focuses on joinery detail and colour in relationship to the existing conditions of the market-faced store front. The design speaks both to the history of the space and its current expression as Market Lane, South Melbourne.

The handsome Victorian blue-green exterior and navy awning usher you into a cosy shop, where the soft-blue wall tiles are inspired by the vivid blue washing channels and flotation tanks in many coffee washing stations in Rwanda. The light timber cabinetry is expertly crafted by Orio Randi and his team at Arteveneta, using rare reclaimed French elm that Orio found and fell in love with.
